The Montana PTAC is Here to Help

3/30/2020

Yes, these are unprecedented times, but the Montana Procurement Technical Assistance Center remains open for business, ready to help Montana-based companies sell their goods and services to federal, state and local governments.

Most of our government contracting advisors have been working remotely for the past two weeks to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19. With Governor Bullock’s stay-at-home order, all of us will be working remotely through at least April 10.

This will be an adjustment for clients who live and work near our centers, and are used to meeting with us in person, but this transition has been relatively seamless for us as PTAC counselors. Montana is a big state, and face-to-face meetings aren’t always feasible. We already have years of experience assisting clients remotely, over the phone and the internet.

While one-on-one counseling will continue, the same cannot be said for our group trainings and outreach events. All April and May seminars, workshops and matchmaking events the Montana PTAC had planned to host or participate in have been cancelled. We are working to replace some of these events with webinars, teleconferences or video conferences. Please check https://www.montanapex.org/events/ for event updates.

As a reminder, live webinars and on-demand training on government contracting topics continue to be available to you though our partnership with Govology. Training topics coming up this quarter include:

  • Coaching Your Government Proposal Team
  • Set Up Your Proposal Process for Success
  • Who Buys What You Sell – A Step by Step Process
  • Prospecting for Government Market Opportunities
  • Essential FAR Performance Clauses for Federal Construction Contractors

Contact your government contracting advisor for the Montana PTAC coupon code, which will allow you to view any live or recorded Govology training for free.
